Jim is correct.

Think of it this way: Applying PTFs only adds PTFs you don't already have. So if a made up BRMS PTF SI12345 is on there from your efforts and the CUME contains SI12300 for the same product it will see that SI12300 is either at the state of 'Superceded' or 'Permanently Applied'. When you put on SI12345, SI12300 was either 'Perm Applied' if it already is there or simply marked 'Sperceded' if it was not already there. Thus it will simply bypass that PTF.

It will not remove PTFs, rather allow the other products to catch up.

Your BRMS will stay at the current level until it's updated with a newer
group.

Subject: PTF cume on top of PTF group

On 7.1 I have installed SF99362 level 69 and it seems to have fixed my BRMS
problems.

I have not yet installed SF99710 level 17192 the July, 2017 cumulative.

When I do is it going to backlevel BRMS or will it correctly recognize
there
is are later BRMS PTFs applied?
