The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We don't give our auditors access; we give them reports. Lots and lots of reports.
Some of our reports are the ones they ask for year after year. They usually have a new request every now and then.
We run a lot if AS/400 Queries. We print out the query definition so they can see what the query actually does.
At time they've asked for us to run reports while they watch (as if we can't fake things if they're watching us push the buttons).
So far, our management has managed to keep them happy with reports.

Subject: auditor access
Our IBM I system environment is undergoing an external audit.
How can we provide read-only access for the auditor (i.e., with no
ability to execute change, add, or modify)
They need to view users, libraries, jobs, job description etc.
Thanks,
Jerry
