Personally, I wouldn't grant an auditor (assuming financial) direct access to systems. They want reports and screen shots? Let the experts retrieve them.
A trusted IBM i security pro/vendor who knows what they're doing? That's another story.

How can we provide read-only access for the auditor (i.e., with no ability to execute change, add, or modify)
