I have an application that generates email confirmation messages with a
link back to a site on the local IBM i. The email can be generated in
either HTML format or in plain text. The HTML version is running fine,
but when I send the link in plain text, 2 characters in the middle of the
link string (a long one, 75 characters) are dropped.
Here's the weirdness, when I look at the MIME message using a text editor,
they are actually there. The email client (and I have tested this with
Thunderbird and with a WebMail client) just doesn't show those 2
characters.
Ideas?
