Many of us have ran CHGSYSVAL QCCSID to 37 right smack dab in the middle of the day with no negative repercussions. Chuck Pence raised a concern with that and you can search the archives for that.

Since your email address ends with ".it" your situation may differ.

Hi All

If i run this SQL Stmt “SELECT DBITXT, DBIHDG FROM qsys/qadbifld WHERE
DBILIB = ‘MYLIB” , in the DBITXT, DBIHDG I see strange chars like “ä ? À
: Ñ Á > À / “ … if I run CHGJOB CCSID(37) , then I see the DBITXT,
DBIHDG values OK . My SYSTEM CCSID is 65535

Is it normal ?

I run V7R1 but also in other OS Version

Thanks
