The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Jim,
This may help.

Subject: Client App comm changes in V7.1 to display docs
We have a vendor app which uses it's own client via odbc to query i data, create or display docs (in QDLS). We are catching up two years of ptfs and are testing the 16320 cume for V7R1, and having issues. All of the above is slated for eventual replacement, but not till long after 7.1 ends - so we don't need to rehash that argument.
I've searched and not yet found there are major changes other than the ability to run the server programs (like QZHQSSRV) in alternate subsystems.
So far the logs are not giving a clear picture of any one failure, but still looking. The client reaches the point of opening the QDLS doc (a pdf)
Any other changes remembered?
Jim Franz
