We separate our Domino machines into separate lpars. We leave WRKSYSVAL
QCTLSBSD set to QBASE on those. On "traditional" workload lpars we
WRKSYSVAL QCTLSBSD to QCTL.
Sure you can delve into a whole lot of details but that's the grunt of it.

Systems come shipped to QBASE as a default.

You must have had one weird upgrade to get that changed.
