I'm seeing a lot of talk about IBM dropping AFP, but not a whole lot of specifics.
We use some *AFPDS printer files (CRTPRTF FILE() DEVTYPE(*AFPDS)), mostly for barcodes, with a few overlays. We also use an old open source utility to convert *AFPDS spooled files to PDF (TIFF in PDF wrapper).
I'm trying to figure out if we're going to need to replace all of our *AFPDS printer files.
Anyone know anything about this?
