Regarding open source solutions, I think "Greenshot" might work well for
you.

Windows has a built-in "snipping tool". If you press the start button on
win7/win10 and type "snipping tool", you'll see it. It doesn't offer an
option to go directly to the printer but could your users handle an "email
to" option or paste into Paint and print from there?

There are probably some other open source ones around (snipping, clipping
and/or prtsc) that might have a "to printer" option.

The app is actually Rocket's Legasuite GUI.
Print screen is there when the app is normal mode.
But when app runs in emulation mode, then Host Prt Scrn is the only
option.

I assume you're talking about a 5250 app. Doesn't the emulator have a
print screen function?

Subject: Print screen preferred instead of Host Print screen

I have an application that is only allowing Host Print Screen.
The output of Host Print Screen is a spoolfile in an outq.
The problem is that we don't have any iSeries printers configured for
this
outq, nor do we wish to.

I would like the user to generate a Print screen, which in turn goes to
their Windows default printer.

Any thoughts from the group?

Thank You
