Bradley Stone makes a product called GETURI which give you a command to perform HTTP/HTTPS post and gets.
Very solid product and Bradley offers excellent support. Price is very reasonable.

I looked at the manuals and it look like there is not easy way to use
socket programming is IBM I in general and CL in particular. I need to send
some data to a server. I thought to use cURL, but I can't ensure unix
services are available (and the response from unix is a bit unclear).
Any idea how to use socket programming in CL program?
