V7R1 OPS Console Win 7 pc
Power 8 server
Old customer changed gateway address - I changed the properties in the
client would not connect.
Looked in SST and found the gateway address in the console device - changed
it
Still not working
System has 2 controllers, both type 6A59
CTL01 with device DSP01 in a vary on pending
QCTL with device QCONSOLE varied off (QCONSOLE is the device in SST
I tried to vary on QCONSOLE - but CPD27D1 msg said the IOP already in use by
CTL01
Varied off controller CTL01
Varied on QCTL with device QCONSOLE and went to pending but never connects
Disconnect/connect and never got past "connecting"
Reboot server - and console did come up but under controller CTL01 and
device DSP01
Even though console up - is there an issue with device DSP01 not being the
device in the SST "console device", or is this normal?
Cannot reboot the server to get console up..
