The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

You and I know that, Jon. The bean counters are another story. I just
found out today that we were not approved to purchase a commercial source
change management system, and our current "system" is an unholy mess.
Something will have to give soon, because security audits are under way
here after this shop, previously privately owned, was purchased by a
publicly traded company a few years ago. I'm just really glad I'm a
contractor and get paid by the hour.

DASD is probably cheaper than the time and energy required to achieve the
equivalent through backups/history files etc.
