I was using a +R so that may have been the culprit. But I had a download of 7.79 and burned it to a DVD and got that installed so we have an HMC again. How can I tell how much memory is in the beast?

Indeed more is better. I'd pop a couple of bucks to bump that server up to
as much as you can stuff into it. Cheap in the end vs. waiting 30 seconds
for connections, changes etc. Besides that memory for that server is
really cheap.

One of my grandsons mixed up my two stacks of blank DVDs (and their mother
wonders why I ban them from my office) and I mistakenly grabbed an +R DVD
rather than the -R DVD. Check that too. Messed up my whole day.
