Rob,

Found the problem: DELIMIT_NAME is a SQL UDF that appeared (for 7.1) with
SF99701 Level 28. Guess what? Their system *really* is not up to date.

I sent them the IBM link with the Release life cycle info. Hope they take
the hint :-)

Thanks,

Luis

The raw form of SQL0204 is

You're showing
“DELIMIT NAME in QSYS2, TYPE *N not found”

To my naked eye it looks like &1 has been replaced with
DELIMIT NAME
which implies a special character or some such thing between DELIMIT and
NAME that your situation is not handling well.

Subject: IBM ACS, SQL0204 error when trying to work with schemas
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi all,

A friend of mine, when trying to work with a schema using ACS (latest
version), is getting a (loosely translated from Spanish) SQL0204 error:
“DELIMIT NAME in QSYS2, TYPE *N not found”. Their system’s release is 7.1.
He can see his server name and schemas. It is when he tries to select the
Schema that he gets the message.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Luis
