Certainly there's lots of stuff about QDIRSRV itself, but not one mention of the NetServer share. I guess I'll try searching for the specific directory that's being shared. Maybe that'll work better.

DIRSRV is Directory Server. - the LDAP server on IBM i.
A google for QDIRSRV got me lots of hits - the 2nd one was "Troubleshooting Directory Server".
Parent topic in Knowledge Center is "IBM Tivoli Directory Server forIBM i(LDAP)" within TPC/IP applications.
