I really like the idea of using a command exit point program, especially
considering we have hundreds of programs using commands that will require
some indication of iASP. CPYTOSTMF, CPYSPLF, etc.

I've been searching for the past hour for an exit point to use on CPYTOSTMF
with no luck. WRKREGINF EXITPNT(*ALL) OUTPUT(*PRINT) doesn't show anything
related to this, as far as I can see. Is there an exit point for more
generic use, such as for any command that uses the
/QSYS.LIB/ABC.LIB/XYZ.FILE/XYZ.MBR convention? (Is this known as type PATH
NAME?)

Rob, it sounds like you're already doing this. Did you have to "roll your
own" exit points to do it?

Another thing to consider is a command exit point program.

Historically I have used them to change commands. Like SNDDST to SNDEMAIL
(if the parameters used were conducive to that).

So on 'swap day' you don't have to run around like chickens with your
heads chopped off changing every program. You can easily put a command
exit point program against CPYTOIMPF which will say if a substring
contains 'MYLIB.LIB' and it doesn't begin with '/ASP247' then prefix it
with that.
