Not to detract from the "name" discussion, but I'm reminded of a
presentation given by Frank Soltis, who points out that there used to be
dozens of "server" operating systems in existence. He asserts that only

exist today:

1. z/OS.
2. IBM i.
3. Windows.
4. *nix.

Makes me wonder just what constitutes a "server" operating system?
In addition to our IBM i system, we also have an IBM mainframe, but it
runs the IBM z/VSE operating system and we have server processes that we
run under it.
