I'll write these answer for Kit von Blerk the owner of ecofit (who was
somehow not able to post it by himself):

The free version is ChangefIT V2.31. It is fully functional but missing all
the features added over the last few years. The current version is ChangefIT
v3.01.

Installation (LODRUN) takes about a minute to run, configuration takes about
10-12 minutes.
This means you can start using it productively within 15 minutes of
installation. So it really is free.

I am trying ecofitonline.com so far I am able get my account enabled online
and able to share messages with them...:) it looks like they have some
free version and an advanced version for few thousand $. I am trying to get

"Free" can be misleading. Just because you don't have to pay money to
buy something, doesn't mean it's free. Those things often require
labor that may offset any savings.
