Just a thought but...
You might consider that whoever/where ever you got that
270 from was smart enough to either clear, move or remove
one or more of the drives and in doing so created you
a brick for the moment.

In regard to the OS, is the license just a simple code or something
embedded somewhere or how does that work? I am assuming that since this
thing was in use for years it was licensed. In the event i can get it up
and running, how would extract that licensing info, as well as how do i
obtain installation media? It is no doubt full of user accounts and data
that i have no interest in, so ideally a clean install would be preferred.


I have verified the cards inside and i do have a Twinax card present. I
have seen that the ethernet cards can be purchased for very little, so i
will likely end up going that route. Anything i should be aware of in that
endeavor?
