I keep an old laptop that NEVER gets updated precisely for that reason.

Browser makers have gone nuts blocking reasonable internal traffic.

Subject: TS2900 access via browser

Hi,

Anybody else have a TS2900 tape library?
What browser config are you using to access it?
We've always used Firefox since Internet Explorer stopped working a long
time ago.
But now Firefox isn't working because we upgraded to v52 which apparently no
longer allows use of the Java plug-in that browser access to the TS2900
requires.
It seems to get as far as the login screen and just dies.

We are on Windows 10 on our PC's and tried Microsoft Edge and even Internet
Explorer to no avail.

TIA
Thomas Garvey
