That's the way I define it too. I was confused because he said that SQL was stored in QSQLSRC and DDL was in QDDSSRC.

DDL & DML are both types of SQL.

I would expect PF & LF DDS source to stored in QDDSSRC and, at least, DDL source to be stored in QSQLSRC.

Generally, I wouldn't expect DML to be stored in a source file directly ... except for some utility stuff. In that case, I would probably expect it to be in QSQLSRC also.
