And IBM does publish a scenario in migrating from a system which does not
support 7.2 (like your 525) to a system which does not support 7.1 (like
an S812).

In theory, if you have enough electrical outlets you can try this a few
times and then do your actual migration.
Or you can contract with someone like Jim, Larry or Pete and the others
who do this stuff on a somewhat regular basis.
