Good to hear, Nathan.

I have a whole bunch of SSL documentation here that helps with exporting
Certificate Authorities (CAs) and importing them in the the *SYSTEM store:

An SSL Return Code List that is slowly going together as my customers
experience different scenarios:

A checklist when having email issues:

I'm sure there are many more items I've amassed over the years but these
are the ones I deal with daily.

I find it not surprising at all that you needed to contact IBM to find out
how to get everything set up (and yes, they like to "threaten" with billing
sometimes). It's a mess, as is the fragmented and almost non-existent
documentation. To me it seems like years of band-aid over band-aid.

The most difficult part my customers have (without really even knowing it)
is the need to import the CAs so the SSL/TLS communications will work.
(MAILTOOL has the option of turning off strict SSL but I don't recommend
that). I normally send the CAs to them with a link with instructions on
how to install them to save the trouble of having to retrieve the
certificates with openSSL. I've also had the CAs available for download
for years.

I think I need to update the Microsoft ones since they recently updated
them causing a shockwave through the world.. lol

I'd love to see how IBM would have handled that. :)

Were you able to find current docs for doing all this (beyond the basic

I began with the docs in the Knowledge Center. They helped, but I
eventually submitted a PMR. IBM Support provided references to a half dozen
Tech Notes and other guidance. They were on the verge of charging me a
consulting fee.

I opened a G Suite account and received support from them in regard to
their email-relay services.

Google has references pertaining to DNS configuration.
https://mxtoolbox.com/ has tools for evaluating and fixing DNS issues.

I need to put together a document while the experience is fresh on my mind.
