Hi Richard,

Some will tell you which language they think you should learn, including
among others Python, PHP, etc.
I would suggest you might want to learn some new tooling to develop modern
applications on the IBM i. For example, check out LANSA, BCD, or Profound
Logic just to name a few in no particular order.
