Depends on what you're coming from.
But you're right, the biggest hurdle in a 7.2 to 7.3 upgrade was the Java
issue. Mainly because of the numerous vendors who insisted upon it.
Especially IBM Domino.
Jim was spot on about the SMB2 support being an issue.
But we need to know if your concern was a 7.2 to 7.3 upgrade.
Since you have a passing familiarity with Query type products you might
want to add 7.3 Temporal Table support to a table and try querying both
the parent and the temporal table and see how you handle it.
