Indeed there is something going on. When the dashboard itself alters the
reporting and then does not agree with other data collections, then it's all
but worthless to assist in monitoring the system. I'm hoping there is a way
to disable it, but I'm doubtful.

Ordinarily I'd not be concerned but we did several V7R3 upgrades over the
weekend and each and every one of the customers is particular unhappy with
that aspect of the upgrade.

The other thing they are complaining about is the loss of columns in the
WRKSYSSTS advanced view. We used to be able to see all four fault rate
columns plus the wait transitions, now they are on separate screens similar
to the intermediate assistance level. I'm told that's because the fault
rate columns needed to be expanded so on large systems they were not all
"++++++". OK I get that but has anyone in Rochester every heard of a 132
column screen?

Hi Jim,

Just this morning I tried that dashboard and experienced that CPU usage
increased extremely.
When the dashboard was active the CPU raised to continuous around 70% while
normally we are moderate below 10%.This was on both green screen and the
dashboard. When I closed the dashboard tab, the CPU load went down.
Now that I saw your post I tried again, and strange thing is that the
dashboard reported 30% while greenscreen WRKSYSSTS reports 6.1%.
There is indeed something strange going on with that dashboard.

Regards,
-Arco
