I am bit confused with your question ...
I have some experience moving SQL server applications to DB2, this
involved to write some RPG code...
I have some experience moving RPG application to Java in a way that they
can be run against "any" database including SQL server or DB2 ... that
could include in the architecture the use of SQL procedure and or triggers

So I wonder if your question on moving RPG to SQL Server would not be more
appropriate on a Microsoft forum ?

Is there anyone who did this kind of project? If yes was there any road
map documentation anyone can share?

Idea is to move RPG code into SQL procedures. Which can be port to cloud
or other platforms or databases like SQL Server.
