I have successfully set up sftp and am able to run a batch script
interactively. I ran into a snag when attempting to run a qshell
command from within the script. I've isolated it as follows:
QSH
sftp -v -b /mark/test.sftp user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
test.sftp contains:
!mv -f /mark/test/* /mark/testarchive
The system response is:
sftp> !mv -f /mark/test/* /mark/testarchive
Usage: mv [-I] [ -d | -e] [-i | -f] [-E{force|ignore|warn}] [--] src
target
or: mv [-I] [-d | -e] [-i | -f] [-E{force|ignore|warn}] [--] src1
... srcN directory
Shell exited with status 1
(Note: Adding a trailing slash or trailing /* doesn't work either.)
Running:
!mv -f /mark/test/* /mark/testarchive
interactively from a logged in sftp session works as expected, but the
batch version does not. What am I missing? TIA.
