It really makes financially more sense to buy a new machine every few years than to lease it and just up their lease by a pittance when they want a new machine?
Or do they only think it makes more financial sense since they don't upgrade?
The problem with the purchase is that even if it does make more sense financially then you get into this "well, it's paid for" trap.
