One thing which has worked for us on a full scale replacement was using the
command exit point programs. I replaced all instances of SNDDST with
SNDEMAIL without modifying one line of code. Whenever someone tried to
execute SNDDST, (with certain parameters), I changed it to SNDEMAIL.
This makes it much easier to do a rip and replace with an alternative
solution.
