Hi Fred

Thanks for the test - I suspect that the SAVF is transferred using QFileSvr.400 - they are one of the object types that can be done that way. Maybe there are history log entries related to the transfer?

My question is, since all non-library IFS objects can be copied using QFileSvr.400, why use SAV/RST for them? It is required only for library object types other than SAVFs and user spaces that I know of. File members need the file to exist first, because a PF is considered to be a directory in IFS syntax.

Regards
Vern

The method for transferring the save file is still a secret for me.
