I keep wondering why the IBM teams don't talk to each other more often. It would make their whole toolset much more integrated. But everything seems very siloed at IBM.

It's also interesting when you view IBM's own website. The IBM I seems to be religated to the corners of the internet. Look for instance at their software product catalog: http://www-03.ibm.com/software/products/en

On the right hand side you will see System z software. Why is that one called out specifically? Where is the link to System i?

I have a mental block with some of the weird syntax rules in SQL - so for me the biggest benefit I have found is the ability to take an existing SQL statement that I am having trouble understanding and paste it into the Wizard - then use the wizard to explore what is going on and make changes.

Of course iNav is (slowly) going away and while ACS is in improvement in many ways the wizards in those products are a one-way street.

I also like the fact that test results in Data Studio can be easily reviewed and compared.
