I use STRSQL, navigator & data studio depending on what I'm doing but for complex SQL statements just the syntax highlighting alone makes it worthwhile to use Data Studio. STRSQL when needing more information that is available from job logs makes it a better fit when getting those less than useful errors in syntax. Navigator I have to admit is hardly used anymore due to the syntax highlighting. As it is with all tools use what suits you & your needs best...

I hear people talk about IBM Data Studio, so I finally installed it. I've
played with it for a while, and I confess that I don't get it. It seems
to be more trouble than it's worth, so I'm wondering why other people use
it. Why use Data Studio instead of something else like iNav?

Thanks
