Thanks Scott,

No, we've not experienced any handshake problems at V7R1 on incoming HTTP requests to the Apache server.
Just outgoing via GSK apis. So I'm no wiser.

I didn't realize that IBM appears to support Node given that they now supply the folder /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/Node
It appears that quite a simple node JS script can avoid the GSK errors. Just can't compile it into RPGLE like GSK.

Cheers, Peter

BTW - I've still not been able to resolve the IBM GSK handshake errors
I reported in an earlier thread. Are you able to give any info on the
PTFs that you said IBM had to apply to get you thru the issue on your
machine?

I have no way of knowing if you are experiencing the same problem that we were. The problem we were having was that the HTTP server would disconnect during an SSL handshake. (while negotiating SSL parameters) This is a problem that only affects V7R2 and V7R3

The fix was to install PTF MF62565. However, MF99105 was required to be applied beforehand, as well. So first MF99105, and once that's applied, then apply MF62565 afterwards (separately)
