The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You have to have everyone out of the S/36 environment in question then issue a CHGS36 command which will allow you to change the session IDs
Thanks,

Subject: "S/36 Printer ID" changed?
We have two identical IPDS band printers (P3 & P5) attached via Ethernet. Starting today, we're seeing S/36 errors saying "Printer P5 was not found on the system". Thru the beauty of IBMi command naming standards, and command wildcards, I stumbled on to DSPS36 which shows me that S/36 uses different printer names than IBMi. It shows that S/36 is now using a different name for that printer.
Two questions:
1. How do I change it back?
2. What caused it to change in the first place?
Thanks
Justin Taylor
