I don't know of any way to set NOT NULL for an entire table.

It's not so much that NOT NULL is a bad idea, it comes down to whether by default you allow a feature or block it. Both have their place. If you have a large number of nulls (not just null capable) in your DB, you may a design problem, but that's a different topic.

Subject: Creating a table without null-capable columns

This has to be a noobish question, but:

Is there some way to create a table via SQL (not DDS) with no null-capable columns, other than specifying NOT NULL on every single column?

I'm not seeing any other way.

If that's correct (that the only way is to specify NOT NULL on every column), would it be because, in SQL World, this is usually a Bad Idea?
