Are they moving your machine to their location or putting your application
on a different box? If a different box I would be concerned about license
keys of your application software. And, judging my experience with people
running non supported versions of the OS I would think there's a
possibility of sticker shock when talking to your vendor about moving your
application to a different box. For example, if you're running BPCS and
dropped support and now you want to contact them to get a key to run it on
a different box don't be surprised at a six figure request.

We're moving some boxes to a offsite data center but it will be our boxes.

If there's some early box you can move to really stress test the
communications first that may help. We're getting our fiber connection
seriously beefed up. We may be different as we're doing Mimix replication
between sites, etc and our bandwidth demands may be totally different than
yours.
