IBM i 7.1 does not support named or default parameters for functions. You
must code them as positional arguments and fill in all the parameters. You
can find the default values from the documentation.

See
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ibmi/library/i-sql-parameter-name-default-value/
for more information.

For your example, the equivalent 7.1 call would be:

SELECT * FROM TABLE(QSYS2.SYSTEM_STATUS('YES', NULL, NULL, NULL)) X

I'm supposed to be able to use this @ 7.1

SELECT * FROM TABLE(QSYS2.SYSTEM_STATUS(RESET_STATISTICS=>'YES')) X

But I get this message. "Token => was not valid. Valid tokens: ) ,."

I read here ...
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/

wiki/IBM%20i%20Technology%20Updates/page/QSYS2.ACTIVE_JOB_INFO()%20-%20UDTF

that I have to specify all of the filters at 7.1 but I'm not sure how to
specify them.

Thanks from a SQL/DB2 for I services
