Oh, now I remember my Domino vs Java issues with 7.2. At 7.1 it was still
called 5761JV1. At 7.2 they changed it to 5770JV1. Normally this would
have been something changed in migrating from 6.1 to 7.1. Domino did this
silly thing where they checked for 5761JV1 and that particular option.
They only half <way> fixed this when they finally came out with a version
for 7.2. Then it checked for 5770JV1 and the jdk 6 version. In theory
you could override this with a JAVA_HOME notes.ini parameter but it still
insisted upon the existence of jdk 6. Which caused a delay in getting a
Domino version for 7.3 because of their continued insistence of hardcoding
existence checks. It may be a goodly long time before IBM drops another
version of Java but when they do, expect a delay in getting a compatible
Domino version.
