iDate will handle that correctly.
If that were the case, then even more daft for having performed all
that arithmetic; i.e. why convert character->numeric->date when there
are perfectly good/valid character scalars to do the character->date
quite directly :-) Unfortunately, like so often/typical, the OP fails
to reveal the DDL, so everyone is left guessing what is the definition
of the column to which the OP refers. And the apparent consortium
operating with the 'nym Hoteltravelfundotcom are particularly apt to
express scenarios with many if not most of the relevant details missing.
