Yeah, if it worked with the older version of ubuntu then obviously it
would/should work with a newer one (although there have been a couple of
times a forward version broke a few older programs, although if my
memory serves it was a kernel change around 2.something to 3.something I
think which was a huge set of changes)... I would probably have realised
that before posting had I not been so boggled and dazed at the hoops I
had to go though to navigate IBM's site to find the
compatibility/software requirements. :-)
