I might add that the label is small. Laser printed. Not always in
EXACTLY the same place. Usually off to the side and vertical. Remember
it's on the chassis not the SAS cans or Power Supplies as it technically
relates to the mid-plane of the drawer. You'll need to figure out a way
to use a camera to pic the label unless you have perfect eyesight.

You might have to do it the old fashioned way and track back the cables
(remember both ends of the cable have a serial number on them so you
don't
really have to trace them) to the adapter card and figure it out that
way.
(been there)
While you're at it you can start to document the cable layout for the
intended move since you have to do that anyway. If you have a fine point
marker with you put a card location/port number on each of the labels
on the
cable. Now you'll be able to reconstruct the system without too much
fuss.
You have a fun day in front of you.

Subject: 5887 and 5877 Serial number tag location for labeling purposes
I have multiple 5887 and 5877.
Where can I find the serial number tag locations for labeling purposes?
Thank You
