As Jim suggests I would 'Read a lot first'! A question such as the one posed indicates to me that you need to learn a lot before you dig into such a project. The current set of redbooks is very good and you do not need to read them all as they cover IBM i replication AND SAN replication as well as things like FlashCopy which you likely don't need.

The replicated area must be an iASP. There are objects in the base ASP that

There are several very good redbooks re:Power HA that you might want to get.

Subject: PowerHA

Hi, I start to implement PowerHA, my local IBM support does not support very
much.

I have a doubt, can I replicate ASP2, or do I need to create an Independent
ASP?

It is a small configuration with only local disks, and short distance (1G
ethernet)

TIA

Raul
