If you do sample code do some of what you actually use. For example I
know of one shop who has a machine that is not from the Jurassic period
but still writes new code in RPG36. There are some consultants who would
rather flip burgers. If you expect the relationship to last longer than
an immediate project then a little of where you may want to go is not out
of the question. For example, totally free format with a subprocedure
call from another module in a service program in which the subprocedure
needs fixing. If they can figure it out then more power to them. If not,
then maybe they may bend a little more on their rate.

The old question "Does he have 20 years of experience, or 1 year of
experience repeated 20 times?" comes to mind
