I post this merely for the benefit of anyone who might see an unexpected error "Function check. MCH0601 unmonitored by QUHFMT at statement *N, instruction..." when requesting help text. Although there is an APAR easily located, there is no instruction number [I recorded one in the Subject] and the command help noted in the APAR was only the Save Security Data (SAVSECDTA) whereas my occurrence was with Create User Profile (CRTUSRPRF); difficult to know how pervasive.

If I signon and at the command-line immediately type CRTUSRPRF and then issue F1=Help, the request fails with MCH0601 followed by the *FC CPF9999 rcMCH0601. The APAR SE58403 appears to cover my situation, per CHGPRF CHRIDCTL(*DEVD) from the previous setting of CHRIDCTL(*JOBCCSID) did circumvent the problem. Unsure of the reason, perhaps the help text changed in v7r2, but the problem does not occur there, but the APAR suggests there is no fix in any release :-( Huh. I use *JOBCCSID for a reason; I do not want to have to change my device to achieve the desired output!
