OK there's a link. But how in the world do you know exactly which files to
download, moreover how do you know you got all the files you will need?

So read the HTML file, and discover than in the case I'm interested in there
is only one file to download, except: It's not in this list. Why? Because
FSP firmware requires a SWMA agreement and that requires you to go through
the Fix Central authentication in order for IBM to know that your box
(Identified by machine type and serial number) has the appropriate
maintenance agreement in force.

Same thing for PTFs
Same thing for Licensed Programs
Etc.

What we are asking for is add the FTP option next to the current download
director or HTML downloads. It can be done the exact same way as the PTFs
are done now, keeping in mind you need a valid SWMA agreement on a serial
number to download PTFs too.

Do they have some of these on an alternative ftp site?

They have a notice up that things are not good, points for that. I
can't even download an FSP firmware update with Download (!$#!$%!$!)
Director as of a couple of minutes ago.

Why can't they get something this fundamental right?
