The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I agree with Chris here.
Make sure your Windows server is 15 characters or less. Also your Windows
domain name must be 15 characters or less.
Definitely make sure that ALL shares on that server are 12 characters or
less. Not just the share you are trying to access.
Try the MD '/QNTC/MyServer' before doing a WRKLNK '/QNTC/MyServer/*'
Do not use mixed case passwords until you go to QPWDLVL=3. Either make
them all upper case or all lower case. At versions prior to QPWDLVL=3 it
will try to use all lower case passwords also.
Check the domain your IBM i is in by:
iNav, Network, Servers, TCP/IP, right click on NetServer, Configuration,
NetServer domain should match your Windows domain
This domain may be different than the domain specified in CFGTCP, 12. They
are not related. If you are GUI phobic you can look at NWSDOMAIN in

And there were various PTF's which were needed for IBM i to read shares
off of newer servers, such as
