If they downloaded to the IBM i instance then they are most likely save
files in QGPL.
Unless you're using the abbreviated full system save where you need the PTF
save files, it's a good idea to clear them anyway. You can always get at
the cover letter on the internet if needed and the save file does not really
help much, other than support those of us that sell disk......

There's always the flamethrower approach:
DLTPTF PTF(*ALL)
It will not remove any ptf's which have been applied. Read the help.

BTW, 1GB would be 0.02% on our production lpar.
Can you really attribute this growth to just the PTF's?
Funny how PTF's aren't even a detailed line item on PRTDSKINF *SYS

I'm training a new person to do PTF's using FixCentral. Something went
awry, and he started to download 185 GB of PTF's. We stopped the
download, but I now need to find where those PTF's went. Our disk usage
is up 1 GB since 8am, so I assume they're on DASD somewhere. How do I
locate them so they can be removed?
