Knowing that Vern Hamberg hangs here, I'm interested in asking about the
ITJUNGLE article that he was just featured in:

http://www.itjungle.com/tfh/tfh072516-story02.html

The article indicates that Vern employed an OAR wrapper paired with SQL I/O
to enable legacy RPG programs to work with a FIELDPROC based encryption
solution.

My question is whether SQL I/O was required, or if the problem could have
been solved with an OAR wrapper paired with RLA I/O?

It may seem redundant to wrap RLA in OAR, but the article implies that SQL
was required to fix some ambiguous problem pertaining to FIELDPROC
encryption.

With regards,

Nathan.
