The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Our GETURI software will also help you with the communications part of the
project. It's an HTTP client that's been around for MANY years and running
on thousands of sites all over the world.
You can find more info at

inexpensive, supported and we also offer services if you need anything set
up or just to get things going.
You didn't mention if the user id and password is BASIC authentication or
something else, but GETURI can handle them both.
GETURI won't help with parsing the SOAP (it's the HTTP/S client) but there
are many built in services for that as well.
